Fishing Updates From Round The World. Chinese fishing boat sinks, 7 missing. Sank in the Xijiang River, leaving seven of the 11 people aboard missing, authorities said. The incident occurred Sunday in southern Guangdong province, the official Chinese news agency Xinhua reported. Rescuers succeeded in saving four of those aboard, but another seven remained missing, the report said. The cause of the incident was being investigated as rescue work continued.
